As with all other clubs, we have been required to make amendments to our constitution in 2014.

Heat Policy

BENDIGO OBEDIENCE DOG CLUB

 

If on Tuesday the weather forecast for Wednesday is for 35 C or over practical training is cancelled.

Members are invited to come for a DVD or an information session but NO DOGS.

However there will be NO TRAINING OF ANY KIND ON DAYS OF EXTREME OR CATASTROPHIC FIRE DANGER RATINGS.

If 4 or more training sessions are cancelled during the term due to the weather then memberships will be carried through for the next term.

 

RAIN POLICY

BENDIGO OBEDIENCE DOG CLUB

 

There will be a post on the club FB page by 2 pm on Wednesday if training is to be cancelled due to heavy rain, wind or storms.. 

As with the heat policy this will stay even if the storms pass closer to training time as it is too hard to let people know at the last minute.

If thunderstorms are predicted on a training day training is cancelled even if storms don't eventuate as it is too hard to let people know at the last minute.  You should keep your dogs and yourselves safe.

 

 

 

REDUCING HEAT STRESS IN DOGS -  Please read

 

We will rename the Special Resolution Meeting a Special General Meeting called to pass a Special Resolution. The current By Law and the motion to change the By Law are below. These will be voted on at the SGM to be held on Sunday March 6th at 10:20 am.

Life Membership
Life membership (any member may be nominated for Life membership in recognition of at least 7 year’s outstanding service to the Club. Such nominations shall be voted on at the following Annual General Meeting. Not more than one person shall be appointed as Life Member of the club in any one year.)
MOTION TO BE VOTED ON AT THE SPECIAL RESOLUTIONS MEETING.
